Consortium Professional Recruitment is proud to support their client in the search for a Maintenance Planner (E&I). This is an exceptional opportunity to join a company operating at the forefront of sustainable energy production. This role will support ongoing proactive efforts to maintain site operations and ensure optimal use of resources.  As a Maintenance Planner, you will take charge of the Maintenance Process (Planning) and oversee the efficient execution of scheduled work. This includes ensuring 100% utilisation of available working hours on a weekly basis and providing critical support for upcoming interventions and TARs.  The responsibilities include detailing Work Orders within specified timelines, with clear step-by-step instructions and comprehensive Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS). You will also ensure all necessary tools, equipment, and spare parts are readily accessible for safe and timely task completion. Role Purpose & Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a six-week maintenance schedule to optimise resource allocation and workflow.
  • Review work orders and liaise with the Technical Team as required.
  • Carry out field checks when needed.
  • Identify task parts, tools, activities, and equipment necessary to complete job orders.
  • Prepare comprehensive workpacks detailing tasks, resources, durations, and costs, and update the CMMS accordingly.
  • Prepare Risk Assessment Method Statement (RAMS) and Permit Requests.
  • Manage the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure all maintenance and engineering work is efficiently tracked and executed.
  • Liaise with Maintenance, Stores, and Procurement to ensure materials and spares are available for scheduled tasks.
  • Plan On-Site and Off-Site maintenance disciplines to maximise efficiency and safety.
  • Perform data closure quality checks for Work Orders and ensure hours are recorded.
  • Analyse CMMS metrics to generate reports and provide actionable insights.
  • Create planned work for outages and shutdowns as necessary.
  • Manage weekly and monthly KPIs and collaborate closely with external support contractors.
Candidate Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience in maintenance planning, ideally on a regulated industrial site.
  • Previous exposure to an upper-tier COMAH site.
  • Proficiency with CMMS systems (AX Dynamics preferred).
  • Ability to interpret OEM manuals, technical drawings, and datasheets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to lead meetings and influence stakeholders.
Salary & Working Hours:
  • Salary range: £43,000 - £50,000.
  • Working 37.5 hours per week.
  • Monday to Friday 07:30 - 15:30.
