Billing and Payments Assistant

Full Time- Monday-Friday

£12.50 per hour

HU10- Office Based

Temporary Contract- Minimum 4 months

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Billing and Payments Assistant to help deliver exceptional service and support to their customer-facing teams. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for numbers, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do:

  • Support with billing and payment inquiries, ensuring accurate outcomes.
  • Upload new customer records to produce VoIP billing and manage invoice production.
  • Process accounts and incoming payments in line with financial policies.
  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying and recording accounts receivables data.
  • Resolve customer billing issues by verifying discrepancies.
  • Facilitate invoice payments by sending reminders and contacting clients.
  • Enter invoices and payments into the billing systems.
  • Assist with regular billing and payment reporting and analysis.
  • Meet key customer performance indicators for timely and effective interactions.
  • Adhere to all Data Protection and Information Security requirements.

What You Bring:

  • A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience with Sage 50 and Salesforce is a plus, but full CRM training will be provided.
