- Ensure compliance with BS7671, including monitoring and integrating the latest amendments and technical bulletins into business processes.
- Mentor and support apprentices and junior members of the team, fostering their technical growth and ensuring the development of future talent.
- Collaborate with design teams to develop new electrical concepts and solutions for products, ensuring designs are fit for manufacture.
- Investigate non-compliance and safety-related incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing solutions and countermeasures.
- Work closely with senior production electricians, supporting the Design for Manufacture (DFM) process and new product introductions.
- Lead and support development, improvement, and cost-reduction projects to drive business efficiency.
- Ensure the business maintains compliance with external standards, including NICEIC membership, and support external compliance audits.
- Represent electrical matters in key business meetings and provide technical advice to internal stakeholders, including production support and aftersales.
- City & Guilds 2382 – 18th Edition and C&G 2391 – Inspection and Testing.
- HNC/HND Level 4 or 5 in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Proven practical experience in a relevant industry (e.g., domestic, modular, or leisure sectors).
- Strong IT skills and knowledge of Health & Safety standards.
- Experience in project management and process improvement is desirable.
- Familiarity with production processes, especially the manufacture of twins or single units, is an advantage.
- Strong leadership and ability to influence and manage teams.
