An excellent opportunity has arisen within a manufacturer to the market leaders in food manufacturing, a specialist food manufacturing plant in Hull.Benefiting from continuous improvements to all the manufacturing processes the group will in turn generate further expansion of this already rapidly growing organisation, which has been established for over 20 years and has multiple sites nationwide.
Key Skills
- Apprentice Trained in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience of PLC Systems & Automated Machinery.
- Understanding of PPM systems.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of day-to-day engineering and maintenance activities ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards and maximizing machine efficiencies. The ideal candidate will come from an electrical engineering background and should be able to work on their own initiative, be a time served engineer with electrical bias (but multi-skilled) and have fast moving manufacturing experience. If you have worked PLC systems, it would be advantageous. On a day to day basis, you will work on fast moving machinery such as flow wrappers and labelling machines, together with packaging and conveyor systems, H&S, sealers, depositors, cutters, 3-phase, and PLCs. There is a huge amount of training on offer so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
