Educated Appointments are delighted to be supporting a rapidly expanding Group Training Association with training centres in Hull, Grimsby and Scunthorpe to hire a Electrical  Instructor.

Our client are an Ofsted graded 2 'Good' training provider, which delivers Apprenticeships and both standard and bespoke upskill training courses, providing accredited, industry recognised training from a beginner to an advanced level, all of our courses and standards are taught by highly experienced staff to ensure you receive the best possible training.

Our client provide engineering skills training for hundreds of companies in the Humber sub-region and beyond.

We recruit industry specialists who want to make the career change to delivering training and skills.

Main Purpose

We are looking for a multi-skilled Electrical Engineer with a high level of industry experience who would like to move into training and pass on their knowledge and experience.

The successful candidate will work with our existing instructor teams delivering high quality apprenticeship training for our client companies and also deliver on our range of commercial courses including 18th Edition, 2391, Basic Electrical Maintenance, PAT testing and health and safety courses.

Experience of PLCs, Instrumentation, CompEx, High Voltage would be advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

You will bring your industry experience and a desire to be part of developing the next generation of skilled technicians.

The successful applicant will have good craft/technical skills, good interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and more than five years industrial experience.

Relevant qualifications to at least City and Guilds Craft certificate, HNC or above would be advantageous, Assessor and teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential as full support will be given in the development of necessary skills.

The position will be based at our Hull site but occasional travel to our other sites and client companies may be necessary therefore a full driving licence and willingness to work nationally is essential.
