Location: Hull, East Yorkshire HU9 1DH (on the road)

Salary: Competitive

Job Type: Full – Time, Permanent, Working Monday to Friday

Established in East Yorkshire in the 1940’s, Fairburns Group Limited is a privately owned, Total Electrical, Mechanical & Building Services company, providing a wide range of electrical mechanical services to the construction, commercial, marine and manufacturing industries.

Electrician – The Role:

As an Electrician at Fairburns Group, you will play a key role in installing, inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and replacing electrical systems. You will work across various sites, primarily in East Yorkshire, with occasional travel beyond the region. Additionally, you will be part of an on-call rota, ensuring continued service to our clients.

The services you’ll be involved with include:

- Electrical Motor Solutions

- EV Charger Points 

- Control Systems, PLC, HMI & Industrial Switchgear 

- Emergency Lighting 

- Fire Alarms 
- Portable Appliance Testing 
- Fixed Installation Inspection and Test Surveys 

- Hazardous Area Installation and Testing 

Electrician – Key Responsibilities:

As an Electrician with Fairburns Group, you will:

- Install and maintain electrical systems across a range of sectors

- Conduct inspections and testing to ensure compliance with safety standards

- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment

- Work closely with other team members and clients to ensure smooth project completion

- Participate in an on-call rota to provide emergency support

Electrician – You:

- 18th Edition Qualified - Essential

- 2391 Inspection & Testing Certification – Dependant on Experience

- Valid UK Driving Licence – A company van will be provided as travel to various sites is required

- COMPEX Certification – Advantageous but not essential
