I am currently recruiting for a fantastic local business with big plans. They are continuing to expand and, as a result, are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join the team.Based in West Hull, you will benefit from flexible working hours, hybrid working options following probation, modern offices and a friendly working environment with a family team feel.General responsibilities -

  • Supervise the AP/Billing functions.
  • Implement new systems to improve efficiency.
  • Support the Aged Payables assistant with processing invoices.
  • Responsible for the AP payment runs.
  • Support the Billing Clerks with processing of invoices.
  • Supporting the month end close with Billing/ AP
  • Reconciling, producing month end reports.
  • Oversea the month end processes, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Consult with the external auditors.
  • Work closely with the Credit Control function to identify and analyse root causes for delays in collection of debt.
  • Ensuring audit / statutory compliance
  • Co-operate with all staff and consult with clients, maintaining good relationships with outside agencies and the legal community to uphold the Group's image and gain increased support for its work.
  • Actively support and promote the Group and all its policies.
  • Perform any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job and role.
