Cedar is supporting a global manufacturing business based in Hull looking to hire a Finance Manager. The role will lead the financial team where you will take full ownership of the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow forecasting, as well as ensuring the provision of accurate and timely financial reports to Group.

Our client is seeking a qualified Accountant, ideally with a background in manufacturing looking to take the next step in their career and develop their commercial awareness.

Other role responsibilities will include.

  • Take full ownership for management reporting on the performance of the site
  • Provide insight into the performance of the individual areas highlighting opportunities to drive improved operational performance
  • Provide financial analysis to support all key decisions, including but not limited to capital investments, costings, pricing recommendation and working capital requirements
  • Manage and monitor working capital across the business to ensure financially optimised stock levels to meet customer demand
  • Drive the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, working with department heads to ensure realistic but challenging targets are set to maximise profits and return on capital employed.
