Accomplish Today are seeking an IFA to join an exciting independent financial adviser firm.The successful candidate will competently provide financial advice to clients within FCA rules and the firm's procedures and ethos.Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Have a background in the industry and ability to demonstrate in depth knowledge of pensions and investments.
  • Identify and contact potential clients. Gather sufficient client information and identify client needs.
  • Analyse information gathered and undertake sufficient research to make suitable recommendations.
  • Keep up-to-date with new product, technical or legislative changes within the marketplace.
  • Comply at all times with the Compliance and Training and Competence Procedures of the firm.
  • Comply at all times with the requirements of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and the FCA Principles, Rules and the Code of Practice for Approved Persons.
  • Ensure that clients are treated fairly and provided with appropriate insurance cover at competitive premiums.
  • Ensure that any client complaints are referred immediately to the Complaints Officer and Directors.
  • Complete all supporting documentation in an accurate manner FCA.
  • Attain and maintain competent status as defined by FCA and the firm
