Counterbalance Forklift Driver
Working in partnership with an EMI-Award Winning plastic fabrication company located in HU7 we are recruiting an experience Counterbalance Forklift Driver. This is a fantastic opportunity that offers ongoing work with training opportunities, paid at 13.52 on days and 14.52 on nights with overtime available paid at premium rates.
YOU MUST HAVE A VALID COUNTERBALANCE FORKLIFT LICENSE
Shift pattern / Working hours
3 shift rotation - YOU MUST BE ALL TO WORK ALL SHIFTS
Shifts Patterns: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am

Counterbalance Forklift Driver positions will commence with immediate effect however, if you do have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around that. This is a full-time role with the opportunity to obtain permanent employment.
Job description
As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver you will be responsible for carrying out forklift driving duties in a busy warehouse. The role will be 50% forklift driving and 50% warehousing. Day to day you will be expected to;
Loading and unloading both manually and using a forklift
Ensure stock is safely transported and manoeuvred around the factory as required
Correctly record and use materials and ensure correct stock accuracy
Carry out all inspections to the relevant schedules, to comply with specifications
Be responsible for the completion of all relevant documentation, to comply with ISO standards.
To work to Health & Safety procedures and report near misses.
To continually improve housekeeping standards, to meet GMP.
The successful candidate
To be successful for the position of Counterbalance Forklift Driver;
You MUST have a valid Counterbalance Forklift License
You MUST have at least 1 year on the job experience driving a Counterbalance Forklift
Committed, team player with a keen eye for quality.
Reliable with good timekeeping.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
