VACANCY: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

LOCATION: Hull HU9

WORKING HOURS: 4 on 4 off, fixed days, 06:00-18:00!

Our client, a well-established manufacturing business in Hull, is looking for a dedicated Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all health and safety procedures.
Conduct planned maintenance routines and respond promptly to unplanned breakdowns.
Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities.
Participate in writing Risk Assessments for both existing and new equipment.
Collaborate with other departments to increase machine availability and drive improvements.
Train other members of staff to ensure skills are transferred across all operations.
Perform other duties as required by the Maintenance Manager.

Skills and Experience Required:
Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
Proven experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
Experience using a CMMS TPM system.
Ability to work as part of a team or independently in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, comfortable interacting with all levels of the organisation.
A driven individual with a hunger to learn.
Ability to understand and amend engineering drawings and diagrams.
Working knowledge of variable speed drives, inverters, and PLCs.
