As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimising our production equipment. With your expertise across both electrical and mechanical disciplines, you'll ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency in our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and address reactive maintenance issues promptly.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on manufacturing equipment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with the operations team to meet production targets and ensure safety compliance.
Skills Required for the Maintenance Engineer:
- Bias: Electrical or mechanical, with multi-skilled capabilities across both disciplines.
- Qualifications: A recognised engineering qualification (e.g., HNC, HND, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
- Experience: Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
