About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipefitter to join our clients garage equipment installation team. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in pipework installation using socket, screwed, and press fittings, along with plumbing skills in a commercial environment. The role requires interpreting CAD drawings, following work instructions, and working to procedures to ensure the correct installation of equipment.
NOTE THAT THIS ROLE INVARIABLY INVOLVES BEING AWAY FROM HOME 3 NIGHTS PER WEEK, EVERY WEEK at various client sites throughout the UK.
- Install, ducting and pipework using socket, screwed, and press fittings in vehicle workshops. (LEV Systems / Exhaust Extraction / Air / Water lines etc)
- Read, understand, and work from CAD drawings, technical work instructions, and company procedures.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure that all work complies with relevant health and safety standards and company regulations.
Required Experience:
Pipework including socket, screwed and press fittings and plumbing in a commercial environment.
Able to understand and follow CAD drawings, work instructions and procedures.
Proficient in using various tools and equipment relevant to pipefitting and installation.
Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
Preferable mechanical, automotive or engineering background.
Ideally relevant trade qualifications in a related discipline.
IT Literate.
