Job Duties:- Install and fit shop fixtures and fittings according to specifications
- Read and interpret drawings and plans to determine the layout of the shop
- Measure and cut materials to ensure accurate installation
- Assemble and install shelving, cabinets, counters, and other shop elements
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on-site
- Proven experience as a Shopfitter or in a similar role
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Health and Safety certification is desirable
Minimum of 2 years of experience in shop fitting or a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:- Knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
- CSCS card
- First Aid certification
The role involves working indoors and outdoors, and may require lifting and carrying heavy materials. It may also involve working at heights and in various weather conditions.
