About the Role:

GSL Education are actively seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for immediate placement at a client school in Hull. This role involves providing personalised support to a child with additional needs, ensuring their safety and welfare, and supporting their learning journey.

1:1 Teaching Assistant Role:

• Providing one-on-one support to a student with additional needs.
• Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and activities.
• Supporting the student's social, emotional, and academic development.
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the student's needs.

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Have prior experience in a support role within a school or a child-related setting.
• Exhibit a compassionate and professional attitude, with enthusiasm for assisting with personal care for students.
• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Have legal right to work in the UK.
