Business Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a part time Business Studies Teacher to work at a college in Hull, starting 10th February and lasting until Easter 2025. This is a temporary position, and part time with working days being Tuesday and Friday 9:00 - 12:30PM. Payment for this position will be between £80 and £110 per morning depending on experience and qualifications.

This role will primarily involve teaching Business Studies to A Level students, so a true business specialist is expected for this role. With the limit times, it is most appropriate for candidates looking for part time and flexible work. Planning and marking is expected for this role, but the department is large and has a huge bank of resources so that planning requirements will be minimal.

The College is located in Hull, and is easily accessed via public transport from most areas of the city. There is a car park onsite that is large and has ample free parking spaces. The college takes pride in it's A Level offerings and has an excellent reputation within the local area.

Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College. You will be put onto all of the same CPD as permanent staff members, and encouraged to grow.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (or the willingness to work towards one)
  • Have experience working within schools in the UK.
  • Has experience teaching Business Studies to Key Stage 5 students.
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the full CV History
  • Legal right to work in the UK
