About the Role

As a Senior Carer, youll play a vital role in the day-to-day running of our care services. Youll provide high-quality care and support to our residents/clients, assist with their personal and emotional needs, and support junior staff while promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a team of care assistants in delivering person-centred care

  • Administer medication in line with company policies and training

  • Assist with residents personal care, mobility, nutrition, and hygiene needs

  • Maintain accurate care records and report concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals

  • Act as a key point of contact for families and external professionals

  • Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing in every interaction

What Were Looking For
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a care setting

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)

  • Medication administration training (preferred)

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • A caring nature, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
