About the RoleAs a Senior Carer, youll play a vital role in the day-to-day running of our care services. Youll provide high-quality care and support to our residents/clients, assist with their personal and emotional needs, and support junior staff while promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support a team of care assistants in delivering person-centred care
Administer medication in line with company policies and training
Assist with residents personal care, mobility, nutrition, and hygiene needs
Maintain accurate care records and report concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals
Act as a key point of contact for families and external professionals
Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing in every interaction
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a care setting
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
Medication administration training (preferred)
Excellent communication and leadership skills
A caring nature, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
