Your new companyYou will be working for Hays as an interim HR Advisor for a large public sector client in West Hull. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and complex environment, supporting the Director of People and the HR team with employee relations work, including coaching and mentoring of leaders.Your new roleWorking alongside the wider team, you will hold your own portfolio of responsibility within the Directorate, including a caseload of employee relations matters. You will be able to influence and advise managers on best practice as well as give input into HR Policies and change management. You will be able to lead and attend meetings, handling what can be complex and sensitive information.What you'll need to succeedYou MUST hold CIPD level 5 or above and have up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation and case law. You should be able to demonstrate recent experience of managing employee relations casework, including involvement in working in unionised workplaces. You will have a high level of negotiating skills and be able to negotiate and influence at senior levels of an organisation. Ideally, you will have experience of working within the public sector in multi-professional environments.
