IT Desktop Support Engineer - Hull - £30,000 to £35,000

Principal IT are working with a food manufacturing company based in Hull to help find an IT Desktop Support Engineer. Having worked along side our client for a number of years it has been great to see their IT team grow from strength to strength.

To be successful in this role they are looking for someone who can become an integral part of their forward-thinking IT team, you will also be put forward for a number of training courses which covers there systems and software used in house.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and install PC's and peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, mobiles, tablets related to desktop infrastructure and in accordance with IT policies and standards
  • Maintain PC's and peripheral devices with Planned Preventative Maintenance
  • Troubleshooting and Network Issues
  • Being responsible for the maintain a professional customer service for the staff
  • Being part of the team for tickets raised

Essential Skills:

  • A passion for IT and technology
  • Experience in a similar IT support role is essential
  • 3 years experience in an IT Support Role with some hands on experience
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Windows and some Andriod/iOS
