MFL Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time MFL teacher to teach at a fantastic school in Hull on a permanent basis. This is to cover a vacant position within the school. The school are looking for a French Specialist, but the ability to teach Spanish to Key Stage 3 would be ideal. If a candidate would prefer, there would be a 'temporary to permanent' option available to have a trial run at the school before committing. As this is a full time teaching role, all planning and marking would be expected for this role. This is to start January 2025. Payment will be in line with the Main Teaching Pay Scale, with an annual salary range of £31,650 to £49,084 per year. There is potential for a TLR or leadership position in this role.

This role will involve teaching French to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, and potentially teaching Spanish to Key Stage 3 students (but certainly not a necessity). All planning and marking associated with a teaching role are expected for this position.

Located in Hull, this school is easily accessible from most areas of Hull on public transport, and is easily accessible via car. There is a large onsite car park for staff that is free to use and there are always spaces. This school has a fantastic reputation in the local area. With this being a longer term booking, the school would be happy for applications from ECTs, and would be willing to look at putting the candidate through two terms of their ECT. This school is at the heart of the community, and is looking for a candidate that shares their values.

  • Have experience working within schools in the UK.
  • Has experience supporting within UK schools
  • Has experience teaching French to KS4 students
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

  • Legal right to work in the UK
