THE BENEFITS:
£37,000 - £39,000, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, free on site parking and the opportunity to be part of a really friendly, collaborative team. Study assistance could be available for a part qualified accountant to finish professional exams if required.
THE ROLE:
The role will suit a good all rounder with previous experience of preparing management and financial accounts, opening credit accounts for new customers, cashflows and forecasting, payroll, VAT returns and supervising an accounts assistant.
The successful candidate will also undertake some basic HR maintenance as in holiday and absence forms, issuing contracts and liaising with external HR resources for employment law issues, appraisals etc.
THE CANDIDATE:
You might be a newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant working in the SME sector or perhaps newly qualified in practice with sound experience of preparing accounts for a variety of clients. Part qualified accountants from industry are also welcome to apply with the relevant skills and experience as are qualified by experience applicants.
Confident with Excel and ideally with previous experience of Sage, you are adept at meeting deadlines, have excellent communication skills right across a company and enjoy working in a busy environment.
