A brand-new opportunity to join an established legal firm in Hull as a Conveyancing Secretary. Working on behalf of clients who are buying or selling property and assisting the director and fee earners, you will be a vital part of the team offering support and assistance. THE ROLE: Dealing with paperwork and queries involved in a property transaction. Assist fee earners in commercial property transactions as required. Dealing with clients face to face and over the telephone. Responding to correspondence and dealing with enquiries. Audio Dictation using BigHand. Generating emails and letters to clients and third parties.Completing tasks on files.Opening new files. Sending required documentation to clients. Preparing contract packs.Preparing completion statements, and cashier instructions.Preparing transfer and mortgage deeds.Dealing with Land Registry requirements. Filing and maintaining records.General office duties within the Conveyancing team which include typing photocopying, sending and receiving faxes and processing incoming post and emails.THE CANDIDATE:Conveyancing experience is desirable.Dictation experience is desirable. Strong secretarial / administrative skills. Strong oral and written communication. High attention to detail.Excellent data processing and IT skills.Organised and methodical approach to work.
