Your role:

As Warehouse Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and despatch of goods. Your leadership skills and proactive approach will be key to optimising processes while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:

- Plan and coordinate all warehouse operations.

- Implement efficient workflows to maximise space and resources.

- Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records.

- Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse staff for optimal productivity.

2. Staff Supervision and Training:

- Recruit, train, and manage warehouse employees.

- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.

- Foster a positive and safe working environment that promotes teamwork.

3. Safety and Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

- Organise regular safety training and inspections.

- Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures.

4. Quality Assurance:

- Ensure all goods meet strict quality standards.

- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or shipment damages.

5. Equipment and Facility Maintenance:

- Oversee maintenance and repairs of warehouse equipment.

- Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free environment.

6. Reporting and Analysis:

- Prepare reports on key metrics such as inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.

- Analyse data to identify opportunities for process improvements.

7. Cost Management:

- Develop and manage warehouse budgets for cost-effectiveness.

- Identify and implement cost-saving strategies.

What you bring:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or relevant experience.
  • Experience: Proven track record in warehouse management or a similar role.
