- Ensure compliance with relevant Engineering specifications, Health & Safety policies, and current legislation.
- Perform planned maintenance tasks to meet engineering and safety standards.
- Conduct remedial engineering work on equipment and facilities as instructed by the Engineering Manager.
- Identify and report any potential risks related to safety or equipment failures to management.
- Complete and log all planned maintenance tasks as per the maintenance schedule.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime and production disruption.
- Proven experience working in a Maintenance Department.
- Must be multi-skilled and be able to carry out both Electrical and Mechanical fault finding
- Ideally be apprentice trained
- Must have worked in a Fast-paced manufacturing environment e.g. Plastics, Food, Extrusion, Cosmetics, Healthcare etc
- Good experience of managing safety in your daily activities
- Excellent Mechanical Fault-finding skills
- Experience working with CMMS platforms and PPM experience
- Must be happy to work 12 hr days and nights
