Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a global plastics manufacturer to recruit an Operations Manager to join their team.Salary: up to £80,000 + benefits for the right candidateThis Operations Manager role is a pivotal hire, to stand in for the Site Director when required. Our client is looking for someone with experience in driving technical performance in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, to increase the uptime and output of the site. The role will harmonise the technical and production teams. Duties of the Operations Manager will include:

Management of the Process & Tooling, Maintenance and Production teams
Drive machinery performance and uptime
Deputise for the Site Director when necessary
Identify and implement cost-saving actions
Be a driving force in site CAPEX projects
Identify areas for improvement and apply Root-Cause-Analysis in team behaviour

Fast paced manufacturing
Engineering / Technical background in production environment with relevant qualification
Management of large teams / workforces
