We are looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead the manufacturing operations of our client’s fast-growing site. In this key role, reporting into the head of operations, you will ensure daily production targets are met while identifying and implementing improvements to boost efficiency, safety, and performance. You’ll join a highly collaborative team, with the chance to make a lasting impact as the company continues its exciting growth journey.This role suits a Production Manager with a strong manufacturing background who is eager to lead change and drive success.Key Responsibilities of the Production Manager:
  • Oversee production operations, coordinating and supporting supervisors across multiple lines.
  • Develop and implement strategies that improve efficiency, safety, and overall performance.
  • Lead teams to consistently achieve and exceed key production metrics.
  • Monitor performance and provide detailed reports to senior management.
  • Maintain and promote a culture of safety throughout the site.
  • Support the continuous improvement initiatives through the application of lean methodologies.
  • Work cross-functionally with departments such as Quality, Safety, Warehousing, and Logistics to support overall operational excellence.
  • Develop and mentor staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Set and support KPI’s for production, safety, and quality.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and HR procedures.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Strong man management experience with a proven ability to meet and exceed production targets.
  • A logical, methodical approach with strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt management style to different teams.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices is a plus.
  • Passionate about developing teams and driving change.
