Cpl Life Sciences are looking for a QC Laboratory Steward for a driven and ambitious individual for a FTSE 10 company. The candidate will provide administration assistance to the QC Laboratory, to ensure smooth running and allow the analyst to work with maximum efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Making sure that lab analysts are supported to start their analytical work at the start of their shift.

• Ensuring sufficient stock of consumables (stationary, solvents, etc.) in the laboratory for analysts to complete their duties.

• Logging samples in logbooks, batch logs, checking the sample market and receiving samples on SAP.

• Print all finished product document packages, including analysis worksheets, specifications and testing methods.

• Create and issue new laboratory logbooks and new folders (training and filling). 

• Upload QC and OOS reports on SharePoint. 

• Stock checking and ordering for stationary, solvents, and consumables (Fisher, VWR, Sampling Systems). 

• Archiving (BUP, ICG, FP), FP filling, and supporting all teams as required.

• Safety shower checks.

Experience & Personal Attributes:

• Experience with administrative and/or secretarial duties.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English, and Maths. 

• Exceptional organisation skills and ability to work under pressure.

• Effective teamwork and communications skills.
