Job Title: Payroll AdministratorSalary: £25-30,000 (FTE)Contract: Part Time - 16-20 hours a weekLocation: Kingston Upon HullWorking structure: Office BasedJGA are partnered with a client looking to expand their payroll department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees.The Role:You will take charge of the payroll process, guaranteeing that employee payments are processed correctly and on time. Your responsibilities will also include collaborating with the management team to keep payroll records up to date and ensuring all actions comply with relevant laws and company guidelines.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end to end payroll process for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of data and records.
  • Process payroll and employee information in compliance with company policies, HMRC regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries from employees, management, and HMRC.
  • Reconcile, upload, and submit HMRC liabilities online, including FPS, EPS/Year-End, and resolving any discrepancies or queries.
  • Ensure all payments are submitted according to HMRC’s deadlines.
  • Assist with other payroll-related tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Experience in payroll administration
  • Thorough knowledge of payroll processes and relevant legal requirements
  • Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
  • Capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team
  • Effective communicator, skilled in managing sensitive and confidential information
