HRGO are currently representing a reputable organisation in Hull seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join its finance team in a part-time capacity. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage all aspects of payroll with precision and efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and IT skills, thrive under deadlines, and adeptly handle day-to-day challenges.

About the Role

As a key member of the team, you will oversee payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing for all employees. Your responsibilities will include maintaining payroll records, adhering to compliance regulations, and collaborating closely with management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payroll from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data and records.
  • Maintain payroll records and process employee data in alignment with company policies and HMRC regulations.
  • Respond to payroll-related queries from employees, management, and external bodies such as HMRC.
  • Reconcile and submit all HMRC liabilities online, including FPS, EPS, Year-End submissions, and addressing ad hoc discrepancies or queries.
  • Support additional payroll-related activities as required.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a payroll administration role.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll procedures and legislation.
  • Proficiency with payroll software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
