Tradewind are proud to be working with a variety of Primary schools in Hull and the surrounding areas and we are seeking Sensory Specialist Teaching Assistants who have experience supporting Primary school children with visual impairments. A recognised Braille qualification is advantageous, although not essential.

We are seeking experienced practitioners who are charismatic, successful in building positive relationships and can easily integrate into new surroundings. Additionally, they must be willing to contribute any ideas they have to help support those who work there.

The successful candidate should:

* Have experience supporting children with visual impairments

* Understand the roles and responsibilities of an Sensory Specialist Teaching Assistant

* Feel confident to lead individual and small group activities

Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

Have experience working within schools in the UK.

Have a Level 3 in a relevant qualification (Desirable not necessary)

Has experience supporting within UK schools

Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

CV must cover the full CV History

Legal right to work in the UK
