Wellbeing/Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Tradewind is currently in search of a dynamic and committed individual to assume the role of Wellbeing and Behaviour Teaching Assistant at a school in Hull. This exciting opportunity involves providing vital support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. The role is supporting students across the school using various techniques to support. You will be working as part of the Behaviour and Wellbeing team. Pay for this role is between £85-£100 per day. The school require someone on a full time basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a point of contact for students, offering guidance and support
  • Conduct individual sessions with students to address both academic and personal needs
  • Collaborate with academic staff to identify and address the specific needs of individual students
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of programs focusing on pastoral care
  • Cultivate a supportive and inclusive atmosphere within the college community

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a role related to student wellbeing or support
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to forge positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Understanding of mechanisms supporting academic progress
  • Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of the college environment.
