Our client is a very successful and well-established printing company. Â They are looking for an experienced Litho Printer / Lithographic Printing Operative to join their friendly, and hard working team.
PLEASE ONLY APPLY FOR THIS ROLE IF:
•   You have experience of working with Komori Lithographic Printer equipment (or industry equivalent).
•   You have colour management experience.
•   You can commit to the rotating shift pattern outlined below.
Salary:  £32,000 + Overtime
Shift pattern:  Weekly rotating shifts, Monday to Thursday, 6.00am - 2.00pm, and Friday 6.00am – 1.00pm / Monday to Thursday, 2.00pm - 10.00pm, and Friday 1.00pm - 8.00pm.Â

Responsibilities:
- Ability to operate litho print presses in the most efficient and cost-effective manner, in order to maximise production output and minimise wastage of materials.
- Ensure all maintenance is carried out to standard and on schedule for your allocated machine.
- Ensure the print room and your allocated machine are kept clean and tidy by carrying out daily inspections at the start and end of every shift.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately so that a true record of work produced is available at all times.
- Work with Managers to improve efficiencies wherever possible, reporting all non-conformances.
- Perform other duties that reasonably correspond to the general requirements of the post and are appropriate to its level of responsibility in order to contribute to the overall success of the business.
Required Skills:
- Experience of working with Komori Litho printer equipment or industry equivalent.
- Colour Management experience.
- In depth knowledge of the litho production process and press operation.
- Previous experience within similar industry.
- Achieve agreed output levels whilst ensuring conformance with company quality control standards & integrity of manufactured products at all time
- Flexible & positive approach to short notice overtime requests
- Ability to communicate & work well within a team
This role would suit someone with a Printing background and experience of using Litho Printing equipment (Print Finisher / Printing Operator / Offset Press Operator / Printing Press Operator / Print Production Technician / Print Specialist / Platemaker / Lithography Printer / etc.
