We are a well-established SME food manufacturing company in Hull, committed to delivering high-quality products. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Line Leader to oversee the largest production line on site, ensuring smooth operations and high standards.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Line Leader to take charge of a key production line, leading a team and ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. With strong performance, there is the potential to progress into a Production Supervisor role within a year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team to meet production targets efficiently.
- Ensure high standards of quality, food safety, and health & safety are maintained.
- Monitor and manage line performance, troubleshooting any issues to minimize downtime.
- Train and develop team members, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
- Work closely with the wider production team to streamline processes and maximize output.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company procedures.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment (essential).
- Previous experience as a Line Leader or Team Leader.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and health & safety regulations.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and team management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
