Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from experienced Project Administrators based in Hull who would be interested in working for a leading engineering services company in the area.

Supporting the Projects team you will carry out various tasks to support the team and organisation and play a vital role in ensuring the planning, execution and completion of various engineering projects.

You will work closely with project managers, team members, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans and schedules.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers.
  • Coordinate project meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure all records are up-to-date.
  • Assist in budget tracking and financial reporting.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as managing emails, phone calls, and correspondence related to projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a project administration or similar role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of engineering software and ability to read engineering drawings is a plus.
