?Sharp Consultancy are proudly working with an established manufacturing business local to the Hull area, in their search for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their Finance team with wider engagement across the business.

?

This role will suit a driven, Qualified candidate to join the business in providing critical financial business partnering and will play a crucial role in providing in-depth insight to drive decision-making and improve performance.

?

There will be the opportunity to work closely with the production and operational teams, helping them understand and manage costs, processes, and financial performance.

?

This position will continue to evolve as time goes on, ultimately providing valuable insights to support decision making at both strategic and operational level and will be key member of the Senior Management team who will manage projects alongside developing costing strategies.

?

Responsibilities include:

  • Effective Business Partnering with various stakeholders to ensure targets are achieved

  • Ensure the business continues to focus on profitability and improved financial performance

  • Provide relevant financial analysis, to support decision making & effective cost control

  • Highlight variances to functional management team, and recommend actions

  • Responsibility for preparation of financial evaluation of investment proposals (Cap Ex)

  • Track departmental spend and variance analysis against budgets and cost reduction targets

  • Develop a greater financial awareness and understanding within Management Team

  • Lead and manage small team

Person specification:

  • Previous business partnering role providing financial support to non-finance functions

  • Demonstrate being a team player working alongside other functions

  • Excellent use of communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Good system skills specifically Excel
