Senior Quantity Surveyor

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a profitable and growing business in their search for a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

As a Senior QS you will play a key role in managing pre and post contract commercial aspects of projects, ensuring successful commercial outcomes.

The Senior QS will be responsible for: 

• Supporting tender processed for new projects
• Managing subcontractor contracts and ensuring compliance
• Identifying contract risks and developing mitigation strategies
• Managing valuation, payment applications and forecasting
• Liaising regularly with clients to develop and maintain key relations whilst maximising profitability

The Senior QS will need: 

• Previous experience in a QS role in a construction, engineering or manufacturing environment
• A strong understanding of technical drawings and construction contracts
• Excellent negotiation, communication and people skills
