Venn Group have been approached by a Charity and would like to introduce the following position available

Position:         Leasing Officer  

Location:        Various locations – North East or Yorkshire & Humber or North West

                       (approx. 2 hour radius from home address)

Rate:               £19.93 p/hr (PAYE inc hol pay) or £22.68 p/hr (Umbrella equiv)     

Length:           Up to 6 months

Hours:             35 hours p/week (Mon – Fri)

The role will predominantly involve:

  • Being responsible for lease renewals, property hand-backs and resolution of escalated landlord obligation defaults within a designated patch or area ensuring that properties are subject to a current lease, are of a high standard and well maintained by the landlord
  • Negotiating renewal of lease terms, property hand backs and dilapidations, with landlords, including financial agreements and settlements to achieve best value
  • Working primarily on Lease Renewals on existing properties and overseeing and coordination of Property Handbacks (including dilapidation negotiations)
  • Carry out property inspections and assessments, working with Property Surveyors, Contractors to identify issues and concerns in relation to landlord lease obligations

To be considered for this role you will need to be able to have experience in/ or/ and experience in HSSRS checks, Decent Home Standards and/or Property Defects identification and Remedy specification

You will also need to be able to drive, have access to a car and be happy for Venn Group to carry out a Basic DBS check for you
