Design Technology Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time Design Technology Teacher based in Hull, starting ASAP and lasting until at least the end of the academic year. This is a temporary position to cover a vacancy Payment for this position will be in line with the main teaching pay scale, between £31,650 and £49084. This scales to a daily rate of £162.31 to £251.71. While this is a full time position, we would be interested in speaking with candidates looking for part time work, as job share options may be available.

This role will involve teaching Design Technology to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. Primarily this is teaching Key Stage 3, with just a couple of lessons per week of Key Stage 4. For this reason, any specialism for DT will be appropriate for this role.

Located in Hull, this school is easily accessible from different parts of Hull via Bus, and has a large onsite car park for candidates who drive. The school is part of a large, national academy chain that has a huge amount of resources available on file, meaning that the amount of planning needed for this role will be extremely minimal.

  • Has experience supporting within UK schools
  • Has experience teaching Design Technology to Key Stage 3

  • Legal right to work in the UK
