Drama Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a part time Drama teacher to work in a partnership school in Hull, starting 25th February until Easter 2025, with the potential to increase in the future. This is a temporary position, however it is to fill an open vacancy, and as such there is potential for a permanent role at the end of the contract if the candidate is successful and is enjoying the role. Full planning and marking will be expected for this role, and as such payment will be scaled to the main teaching pay scale, from M1 - M6. This is a 2 day per week vacancy, with the teaching days being Tuesday and Thursday.

This role will involve teaching Drama to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. You will be responsible for managing behaviour of students and driving positive outcomes and progress. You will contribute to a safe learning environment and adhere to behaviour and safeguarding policies. The school has a large bank of resources, so planning for this role should be minimal.

This school is part of a large, national, academy trust, and as such has robust systems in place for behaviour management. They have a large onsite car park that is free to use for all candidates.

  • Have experience working within schools in the UK.
  • Has experience supporting within UK schools
  • Has experience teaching in Drama to Key Stage 3 and 4

  • Legal right to work in the UK
