Academics is on the lookout for a Qualified English Teacher to join a vibrant secondary academy in Hull. We need an educator with a talent for bringing stories to life, refining students' writing skills, and preparing them for exam success with confidence and creativity.
What We're Looking For:? Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS), PGCE, or equivalent in English.? Experience teaching English Language and Literature up to A-Level within the UK curriculum.? Ability to plan and deliver engaging, dynamic lessons that develop students' reading, writing, and analytical skills.? A passion for nurturing creativity and critical thinking, encouraging students to explore a wide range of texts.? Strong classroom management and the ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
