English Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time English Teacher for an excellent school in Hull. This role will start April 22nd and will last until at least 18th July with the potential to extend in the future. Payment for this role will be in line with the national teaching pay scale, meaning in real terms you will be paid between £162.31 and £251.71 per day for this booking (in line with MPS1 - UPS3). This is a temporary position.

This role will involve teaching English to Key Stage 3 and 4 students (although predominantly Key Stage 3), and will involve all planning and marking associated with a teaching role. This is a full time timetable, with the allocated number of free periods for planning and marking purposes.

The school is an excellent school in Hull with a fantastic reputation in the local area. The English department is strong with a great deal of resources on file meaning that planning for this role would be minimal. There is a large onsite car park on site which is free to use and has ample spaces for all candidates. This is part of a small academy trust and as such success in this role may lead to other opportunities in the future.

  • Have experience working within schools in the UK.
  • Has experience supporting within UK schools
  • Has experience teaching English to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

  • Legal right to work in the UK
