Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Hull
Salary Range: £31,650 – £49,084 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start: January 2025 or sooner
Contract Type: Long Term, Full-time
GSL Education are currently seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join schools in Hull immediately.
The role of an English Teacher involves delivering engaging English lessons, preparing lesson plans according to the curriculum, and supporting students in both one-to-one and small group settings. As an English Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in helping students achieve their academic goals and fostering a love for literature and language.

Responsibilities of an English Teacher:
- Teach English to students across all key stages.
- Prepare and deliver lessons that align with the curriculum.
- Design and adapt lesson plans to meet student's individual needs.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students.
- Track student progress and offer constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience.
Job Requirements for a Teacher of English:
- QTS or equivalent such as QTLS, PGCE is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English or an education-related field.
- Proven experience as an English Teacher in a school setting.
- Ability to teach and assess students across all key stages.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
