Job title: Geography Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a Part Time Teacher in a good school in the Hull, starting January 6th, and lasting for the full academic year. This is a temporary position covering a maternity leave, and as such may increase in the future. It is possible that this will start in February depending on when the internal candidate starts their maternity leave. Payment for this position will be scaled on the main teaching pay scale, between M1 - M6. This works out as a daily rate between £162.31 and £223.62. This booking is based on a two week timetable, it will be 4 days per week on week A, 3.5 days per week on week B. It is highly likely that the 0.5 day on week B could be made into a full day with general cover.

This role will involve teaching Geography to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. This school does have a large bank of resources and consistently share good practice, so the planning requirements for this position are minimal. Ideally they are looking for a staff member to take on the full roles and responsibilities of a teacher. Any ECT is strongly encouraged to apply for this position, with the chance to complete 2 terms or more of your ECT available in this position. Being able to teach another Humanities subject to Key Stage 3 would be desirable for this position but by no means essential.

Located in central Hull this school is easily accessible from most areas of Hull on via the car. There is a large onsite car park for staff that is free to use and there are always spaces. This school has a fantastic reputation in the local area.
