Maths Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time Maths teacher to teach at a fantastic school in Hull on a temporary basis. This is to cover a period of sickness absence, starting 4th November 2024 and lasting until at least Christmas 2024. There is the chance that this will increase in the future, but this cannot be verified until closer to the end of the academic year. Payment for this position will be between £165 and £200 per day depending on experience and qualifications.

This role will involve teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. This school does have a large bank of resources and consistently share good practice, so the planning requirements for this position are minimal. Ideally they are looking for a staff member to take on the full roles and responsibilities of a teacher. Marking is not required for this booking.

Located in Hull, this school is easily accessible from most areas of Hull on public transport, and is easily accessible via car. There is a large onsite car park for staff that is free to use and there are always spaces. This school has a fantastic reputation in the local area. With this being a longer term booking, the school would be happy for applications from ECTs, and would be willing to look at putting the candidate through two terms of their ECT. This school is at the heart of the community, and is looking for a candidate that shares their values.

  • Have experience working within schools in the UK.
  • Has experience supporting within UK schools
  • Has experience teaching Maths to KS4 students
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks

  • Legal right to work in the UK
