GSL Education are seeking a skilled Science Teacher to join a highly regarded secondary school in Hull. The successful candidate will join a supportive and well-resourced department committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning experiences.

As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will bring Science to life, inspiring students through practical experiments, real-world applications, and an enthusiasm for the subject.

Responsibilities of the Science Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic Science lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in Science.
  • Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development.

Requirements of the Science Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • ECT are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Science.
  • Experience teaching Science to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • A passion for education and the ability to inspire young minds.
  • Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
