About the Role:

As a Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of education by stepping in to cover staff absences. You will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and provide a stimulating learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across various subjects and year groups.

  • Adapt quickly to new classroom settings and school environments.

  • Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning atmosphere.

  • Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher or create engaging content where required.

  • Provide feedback to the school on student progress and behaviour.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Experience working in primary or secondary education.

  • Strong classroom management skills.

  • Adaptability and confidence in delivering lessons at short notice.

  • A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
