Job Summary:

We are currently representing a role on behalf of our well established and highly respected client based in the East Yorkshire region.


  • The Buyer will be responsible for the materials procurement for our client who are a construction and civil engineering company who have a excellent reputation for delivering a high-quality service for their clients.


Main Duties:

  • Source and purchase materials such as various aggregates, drainage, concrete and other essential supplies.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value while maintaining quality standards. Optimizing procurement processes to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor the performance of suppliers.
  • Build, manage & maintain relationships with suppliers, site teams and other construction professionals.

Person Specification:

  • Knowledge of purchasing materials in the civils/construction industry.
