We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our clients team as a Junior Garage Equipment Installation Engineer.
Starting salary of up to £25k pa - increasing to £28k pa after successfully completing 3 months' probation. PLUS voluntary overtime.
NOTE THAT THIS ROLE INVARIABLY INVOLVES BEING AWAY FROM HOME 3 NIGHTS PER WEEK, EVERY WEEK at various client sites throughout the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity to start or continue a career in the automotive industry, focusing on the installation of garage equipment in car workshops. As a Junior Engineer, you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training and work alongside experienced engineers to develop your skills.
Your primary duties will involve:
Assist in Equipment Installation:
- Aid in the installation of various types of garage equipment, such as vehicle lifts, tyre changers, wheel balancers, and wheel alignment systems.
- Follow technical drawings and specifications to ensure correct installation and alignment.
Learning and Development:
- Engage in continuous learning and development, including attending training sessions and staying updated on the latest garage equipment technology.
- Shadow experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience and improve technical knowledge.
Documentation:
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Learn how to complete necessary paperwork.

PAY & BENEFITS
Starting salary of up to £25,000 per annum, rising to £28,000 after successfully completing 3 month probationary period PLUS approximately £6,000 per annum voluntary overtime.
Monday to Thursday, plus overtime
Annual working away bonus of up to £4,000 pa accrued with length of service
