We are currently seeking two Agency Social Workers to join the Locality Safeguarding team based in the North Hull area. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced social workers looking to take on longer-term cases in Child in Need, Child Protection, and Care Proceedings work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a caseload of children and families in need of protection and support.
- Conducting child protection assessments and making recommendations.
- Working through care proceedings from start to finish.
- Engaging with families and external agencies to provide tailored interventions and support.
Requirements:
- Professional qualification in Social Work (Diploma in Social Work, BA/BSc/MA in Social Work, or equivalent).
- Experience in child safeguarding, child protection, and care proceedings work.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within an English Local Authority.
- HCPC registration.
- Full driving license.
Additional Information:
- Compressed hours available: Work a nine-day fortnight, allowing you to have one day off every two weeks.
