Team Manager Childrens Services Location: East Riding of YorkshirePay rate:  £40 per hourWe are looking for experienced and passionate Team Manger to lead a team of  Social Workers within Childrens Social Services. This role is required to support the management of both EHASH and EDT. You will be responsible for support and supervision of a team of social workers, oversight of incoming children’s contacts and decision making. You will have management oversight of the screening of worries and support requests for children and young people. You will also chair strategy meetings for children who may have suffered or are at risk of suffering significant harm. This role also has responsibility for timely allocation of children for support to the wider early help and children’s safeguarding service. Team Managers will be based in one of the following service areas:
  • Early Help and Safeguarding Hub (EHASH) & Assessment
  • Locality Based Safeguarding Teams
  • Children and Families Disability Team (CFDT)
  • Permanence Teams
The role will manage a team of Social Workers (and other staff) within a social care service and a wider Children, Young People and Families Directorate. The key purpose of the role is to ensure high quality social work practice which achieves the best possible outcomes (and progress) for children and young people in need of social work support, assessment and intervention.This is an agency post and Pertemps can offer you:-
